Artesia Sends Out New Workers

Hello from Artesia, NM. It has been exciting few months. We were launched out of the July Conference 2022, into Artesia, NM. In September we moved into the city. God opened doors, and we had outstanding favor with the community before coming into town. We were able to get hold of a church building that came fully furnished with all the things we needed to open. Chairs, sound booth, sound equipment, platform instruments, altar, and even a pulpit. It also has a fellowship hall with tables, chairs, and a kitchen. All for an extremely low price.

Our first service was Oct. 2. Since then we have had visitors mostly every week. We announced the opening with a ribbon cutting which got our name out into the community. By God’s provision we were also provided with a big home, suitable for our family of seven!

We had our first impact team from the mother church in Alamogordo, NM. They did an outstanding job, and we have two solid converts who are from the impact team. We currently have a steady group of 25 converts, and we recently had our first wedding in January. Fifty-three people attended! We have new converts who are eager to be discipled.

I recently preached on the Holy Ghost and five were filled. We are seeing healings on outreach with two men healed of diabetes. And healings in our service started with a lady having a seizure. We had to stop in the middle of the service and pray for healing. The seizures stopped and she was able to sit back down through the service. She hasn’t had another seizure since.

A young man, only 17, had arthritis in his hips and knees. We prayed and the pain has left and never came back.

Artesia is a very open city to the Gospel. We cannot wait for this summer to bring the power of a demonstrative God to the streets in healing crusades and concerts.

Ten years ago, my wife and I were homeless, living in an abandoned house and injecting meth into our bodies. Now we are doing the Will of God, completely delivered by His power and pastoring a church. What an amazing God we serve. What a great Fellowship we are in.
