A Healing Crusade Stirs Faith in Artesia

A few couples in the church came in having a rough time. God has moved miraculously in their lives, changing mindsets of both the husbands and the wives into seeing His will and making changes in the hearts of everyone involved.

One couple was led to Christ and to the church because the wife witnessed a miracle. Monique, who is a nurse, had a patient who was in dire need of a miracle. While Pastor was at his house praying for him, immediately there was a significant change.

The patient told Monique about the church and the miracle healing. She started attending and her life was changed by the Holy Spirit. Her husband Brian saw the changes in her and he decided to come find out what was happening. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and his life started changing as the Lord moved.

Ernesto and his wife came into the church and listened to the Word being preached. At altar call, the wife brought Ernesto forward for prayer. Ernesto said that he totally lost his sight a couple years ago and he wanted prayer for his vision to return. The congregation prayed that God would work a miracle. At the end of the prayer, Pastor asked Ernesto how he was feeling and Ernesto said that he could now see shadows. We laid hands on him again and prayed, and at the end of the prayer, Pastor asked how he was feeling and Ernesto said “I see your face!”

David and Tammy were having a rough time, and they were forced to separate. During this time, Tammy became depressed and withdrawn, while David began to struggle with stuttering. After a while, they were allowed back together, but they had drawn apart and struggled to pull their lives back together.

They started attending church and God moved on them. They both accepted Christ into their lives. One evening they both came up for prayer and the Holy Spirit moved on them, the depression left and David’s speech returned to normal. The Holy Spirit moved on him and he also regained his hearing.

There are many similar testimonies of the couples in our church. We give God the glory and honor for the work He is doing.

We’ve held healing crusades where we’ve seen people get healed of chronic pain. We’ve had many revivals with Evangelists Shawn Davis, Scott Snellen, Mike Gomez, Akeem Davis, Adrian Farley and we look forward to Bob McGinnas coming this year.
