A Healing Crusade Stirs Faith in McAllen

Kicking things off in April, we had the privilege of hosting our 3rd annual International Bible Conference in McAllen, Texas. It was truly inspiring to see all our baby works come together, united in worship under one roof. This year’s theme, “Enlarging,” highlights the significant changes God is bringing in these last days as He prepares to pour out many blessings for His glory.

The conference featured a series of powerful sermons, including memorable messages from our Fellowship leader, Pastor Greg Mitchell. We were especially proud of our Kids of the Kingdom ministry, which raised over $15,000 for world evangelism. It was heartwarming to witness our children actively participating in God’s work.

The highlight of the conference was sending out 10 new missionary couples - six to international locations and four nationally. The experience was amazing, and we’re already looking forward to what God has in store for the next conference!

Then, this summer, our teenagers caught the vision to reach the World for Jesus after coming home from bootcamp. They stepped up as leaders, organizing their own outreaches that led to an incredible healing crusade in the park. The result? Countless lives were touched, with many experiencing healing and embracing Jesus Christ as their Savior.

This success sparked a new wave of enthusiasm, propelling our teens to host a series of park concerts and inviting the city for wholesome family fun. Just as 1 Timothy 4:12 inspires, “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity,” our young leaders demonstrated that age is no barrier to fulfilling God’s will. They took on key roles - running the soundboard, testifying, leading alter calls, and organizing what bands would minister. This summer has proven to be a season of extraordinary growth and revival, with our youth leading the charge, ablaze with a passion for God’s work.

As summer came to a close, our church decided to give back to the city by helping families get ready for the upcoming school year. Partnering with Kids of the Kingdom and The Royal Puppets, we organized a Back-to- School Bash that was a huge success. We successfully distributed 400 backpacks filled with school supplies and welcomed over 500 visitors to the event.

The day was filled with fun activities like games, train and swing rides, and a petting zoo. One of the main highlights was the Royal Puppets’ performance, which entertained kids and parents alike with songs, dances, and a moral lesson that led to the Gospel. Mark Morales, the leader of our puppet ministry, ended the event with an altar call, where over 100 families responded and accepted Jesus Christ into their lives. We are truly grateful for what God accomplished through our church during this event, and we look forward to continuing to serve our community.

Then, inspired by Prescott church, we were excited to host our first Children’s Church Conference in August. It was an excellent opportunity for churches across Texas to come together and learn from Tim and Cathy Martin, two remarkable leaders. This conference showed us that children’s church is about more than just looking after kids - it’s about making the services meaningful and impactful.

Over the two-day event, we learned how the lessons taught in children’s church can stay with kids as they grow up, just like Proverbs 22:6 says: “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” We had six sessions that covered different parts of the service, including song service, the lesson, the altar call, and games. Tim and Cathy also showed us that you don’t need a big team to run a great children’s church service, a team of just four to five people can make it work.

The conference ended with an amazing special children’s church service.
