McAllen Sends Out New Workers

Starting in January we began our building project to improve the building’s potential. Areas of the building were worked on to accommodate the children’s church and a new concert/ drama room. Christi, Texas

In February the church was blessed to have a Revival with Evangelist Marty Carnegie, and we were encouraged by every sermon.

That month we had a great two-day Marriage Seminar in South Padre Island with Pastor Richard Rubi. Also every Sunday morning before service the men began faithfully meeting for Serious Men’s Class, which has been encouraging several new disciples.

This April we had our 5th Annual Harvesters Homecoming, the main speakers at this year’s Harvesters Homecoming were Pastor Willis Gordon and Pastor Greg Mitchell. During the threeday event it was a refreshing to hear all that God has been doing here in the Rio Grande Valley. Later that month we also launched out new workers to pioneer a church in Austin TX.

In April and May the church was asked to send impact teams to San Antonio, TX and Corpus Christi, TX. There was a great response from everyone!

For the San Antonio Fiesta Outreach about 80 people traveled 230 miles to spread the gospel. Then a week later for the Corpus Christi Parade about 60 people traveled again to help outreach.
