Healing and Hope Mark a New Season in Newport News

We keep pressing the battle to the gates by holding our Extremes (music/drama scenes). They continue to prove a great venue to see people saved, lock in converts, and give an expression of ministry for the saints. Our weekly outreaches are fruitful whether at a local Wal-Mart or in a neighborhood. A few men have committed themselves to Military Mondays where they will go to a local military installation and witness. These have proven very fruitful with new believers coming out from them. We have had a recent wave of converts that are being established in the Kingdom. We recently had a Discipleship night where two men who believe they are called to preach had the opportunity to minister to the congregation. We are excited to see disciples rising up to answer God’s call. Monthly, we have either sent an impact team to another city or partnered together with an area church in our city. We were excited to dedicate Tyler and Rue Salonius’ first son, Sulo, to Jesus. In July, Evangelist Micah Wright preached an excellent series of meetings. There was a powerful presence of the Holy Spirit in every service. God worked powerfully in each service whether in miracle healing, filling new converts with the Holy Spirit, or Evangelist Wright delivering very specific and timely words of knowledge or words of encouragement. We sent 13 of our youth to the annual Believers’ Bootcamp in North Carolina. They returned on fire for Jesus and gave powerful testimonies of all that God had done in their lives. We appreciate the continued exampleship of Pastor Greg Mitchell and Pastor Joe Campbell. Please pray for us as we pray for you!
