Revival with Dave Szczepanski Refreshes Newport News

The congregation has been stirred like never before to see souls added to the kingdom. Through our labours, God is truly giving us a bountiful harvest. Our weekly outreaches have been very fruitful since the beginning of the year. We have seen more than 100 new faces walk through our doors with many of them becoming active members in the church.

The church is taking advantage of the warm weather by taking the Gospel back into the streets. In May, we put on a concert in the parking lot of a neighbourhood convenience store and had 10 souls receive Christ!

We recently took the opportunity to outreach during an Arts Festival in our city. God gave us supernatural dominion and favour. During the outreach, we had a brother in our church portray Jesus carrying the cross followed by brothers and sisters wearing black shirts that represented various sins such as lust, alcohol, drugs, and greed. As we walked around the Arts Festival, the various sins were seen mocking Jesus as He walked and carried the cross. It was an ex- 11 tremely powerful visual and we had many people stop to observe and listen as the Gospel of Christ was being preached. We saw nine souls added to the kingdom that day!

We were also blessed to have revival with Pastor Dave Szczepanski last week. Many lives were touched and several of our new converts were filled with the Holy Spirit during this time. We thank God for what he is doing here. We are seeing an outpouring of God’s spirit that hasn’t been seen in some time.
