New Believers Take a Public Stand in Jacksonville

Earlier this year we had our Annual Pioneer Rally with Pastor Wayman Mitchell, Pastor Joe Campbell and Pastor Ron Meyer. The theme of the Rally was “Focus on the Mission.”

The Jacksonville congregation took that message to heart and began to focus on key evangelistic events aimed at reaching the lost and establishing platforms of ministry to raise up disciples.

We started out in April and May with two presentations of our Pirates of the Caribbean play, which were followed up with Revivals with Pastor Joe Campbell and Marty Carnegie.

Our aim was to use these plays to draw many sinners, to reach the lost and quickly follow that up with key revivals to lock in those who were saved.

In June and July we used our Dick Tracy play followed by a Revival with Stacy Dillard and an End Times Seminar with Richard Romero.

During these four months, we saw more than 350 people make decisions for Jesus Christ. We’ve recently had baptisms with over 75 people making public professions of their faith. As usual, when we contend for God to move, it is not He who is slow to move. We were quickly overwhelmed with the awesome privilege of following up on those who were saved.

As we continue to sow seed, we see that God’s word does not come back void. On one of our outreaches, we prayed with a lady who has wrestled nville’s outreach efforts with coming to church for two years. She went into her home and grabbed a oneinch thick stack of flyers dating back four years “Our bro from special events, regreat favo vivals and church flyers, telling us how thankful out to thei she was that we continued to come by.
