Revival with Joe Campbell Refreshes Jacksonville

again...to the challenge to preach the

gospel to those that are lost. Recendy,

in March, we had a revival with Alvan

Smith, where we were reminded to

stick to the plan. The Plan being the same one we learned in the early days, which was to go to the streets and preach the gospel to the lost through drama, street preaching. concerts, movies, and one-on-one outreach. In April, we ministered through a rock opera, “ The Pirates of the Caribbean ” , where we saw over 1000 people attend and 52 saved, in two nights. On the second night, our Arena building was so packed that we had to turn approximately 75 people away. God gave us such favor that many in the community requested us to have another showing. One visitor said, “ If I knew it was going to be this good, I would have brought a lot more people with me. ” We arc putting on the play once more for those who weren ’ t able to attend earlier.

We followed this up with w revival with Pastor Joe Campbell, where some of those converts were locked in to the family of God. Since then, we have had many opportunities open up for us to do outdoor concerts in the neighborhoods and apartment complexes. We even got permission to do a concert in the Mall parking lot. The last concert took place in a neighborhood where the day before a bank robber held someone hostage. Seven people gave their life to Christ that night. As doors continue to open, we will continue to seize the opportunities. The harvest truly is plentiful here. Pray for us as we pray for you.
