A New Church Home Opens in Farmington

True to form, this year has followed suit.

As a congregation, we have been praying for a new and bigger building for the past 20 years. When Covid hit, an opportunity arose for us to buy an old Catholic church for a fraction of the cost. After some setbacks, we were forced to push the anticipated grand opening back several times.

Praise be to God, we were able to move into our brand new, beautiful building at the end of summer! Since we have been opened, we have had visitors in almost every service, with many locking in.

We had our grand opening services in October with several former pastors, including Tom Drout and Tom Payne who blessed us with timely words. Pastor Greg Mitchell preached two powerful messages dedicating our new building and we had Pastor Kris Hart preach at our ribbon cutting ceremony. It was an incredible time.

Not only have we moved into our new location, but our Fall season has been eventful as well. Our Saturday morning and Thursday night outreaches continue to produce converts.

We have had Saturday night park outreaches with bands playing, food being served, and complete favor in those neighborhoods with numerous people giving their lives to Jesus.

We also held an Outreach this summer at the local skate park. Anyone who entered had a set time to show off their tricks and skills. In between skaters and sets, bands played music while presenting the Gospel. Many testimonies were also given that touched lives. We had a great time with 30 people saved.

In October, we were privileged to have Prescott send their play “Premonition.” Over the two nights, we saw several visitors and 40 precious souls saved. They did an amazing job and brought a spirit of conviction to everyone in attendance.

It has been a very busy, exciting, and fruitful time. We are encouraged and excited to see all that God is doing. Please continue to pray for our city!
