Hope Reaches Behind Prison Walls in Chinle

Not only are we impacting our own community, but we are continuing to impact other Indian tribes throughout the country and in Canada.

This past February our Navajo missionaries, Donnie and Trissy Benally, were able to nationalize their work in Shanghai, China and returned home to assist Pastor Artie in Chinle.

Our pioneer works into the northern tribes are still making impact and we are seeing the fruits of their labor. Our vision of seeing Native American tribes won over to Jesus Christ is coming to pass.

This past December our church again hosted the Chinle Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, and it was a success. This local outreach allowed us to recognize and honor our local Navajo Nation police officers and their families. Our Navajo choir ministered in music and we served dinner and presented gifts of appreciation.

Other important political figures, like the Navajo Nation President, were in attendance and spoke about the important contributions our police officers make to our community. This outreach to our law enforcement officers has helped us, as the church, gain favor in our small community.

We cannot forget about our jail ministry. Faithful laborers continue to make impact in our local jail as they minister to those behind bars. God continues to do great things in Chinle, in Indian tribes around the country, and in the nation of Canada! God bless!
