Prescott Sends New Workers Beyond Its Borders

During a recent sermon Pastor Jessie Morales reminded the congregation about a word from God that was given at the January Bible Conference in Prescott by Pastor Paul Stephens. “The next six months were going to be like nothing we had seen before.” He also spoke about “Supernatural power, supernatural healing, supernatural crowds and supernatural money in these last days. The revival we all have been longing to see, God was going to deposit in unprecedented ways.”

Truly these have been unprecedented times, but nevertheless we are continuing to see the supernatural hand of God move in mighty ways.

July Bible conference here in Prescott had the supernatural favor of God on it. Just one week before the conference was set to be held, the governor of Arizona passed a ban on gatherings greater than 50 people. Although this is not ideally how we would have chosen to hold our conference, this led to the first Prescott conference in which we were unable to all gather together. However, the work of God was still accomplished as the regular preaching schedule with full services was broadcast worldwide on Livestream.

As we all viewed conference via Livestream, it was such an encouragement to hear victory reports from our churches out in the Harvest field.

Thursday International Night was no different than any other conference as we saw eight exciting brand new churches planted internationally. Friday evening ended with another 16 domestic pioneer works planted.

The Gospel is still being proclaimed, and the spirit of pioneering is still the focus of our Fellowship, even in these unprecedented times. Three couples were launched out of the Prescott congregation from this past July conference. Andy and Carrie Rosas are beginning a work for God in Tampa, Florida; Ian and Priscilla Kline are going to pioneer in Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Adrian and Emily Martinez are preparing to start a new work for God in Tahiti.

We are thrilled to see what God is going to accomplish through these willing hearts.

Our local outreaches were put on hold for a time, but have now started up again as Covid restrictions have eased. Our first Saturday morning outreach back was a powerful time, with more than 40 faithful saints showing up to participate. In that outreach alone 19 people gave their lives to Christ! Disciples in our church were stirred to pray for the sick and step out in faith. We saw two miracles that morning, one of which was a young lady who had scoliosis and God came down and visibly healed her body!

We also have had the opportunity to hold outreaches at a local park, where many families regularly gather. During the first outle to visit during morning breaks at he delight of his great-grandchildren. reach we held, our youth band set up and performed, drawing a crowd of teens and families with more than 100 visitors coming out to the event. Through personal testimonies and one-on-one evangelism 15 people were saved, then seven more answered the altar call at the end of the night.

Every Friday evening we’ve been gathering at the church for a Tri-City Evangelism Night. One of our disciples shares a brief message on evangelism and then we all head out, encouraged and eager to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Although we are currently unable to witness door to door, we have had great favor in going to neighborhood parks and local grocery store parking lots. So even though these are truly unprecedented times, this has still been a fruitful time of evangelism for our congregation.

We look forward to great things ahead, both as a congregation and a fellowship.

There is a stirring in our hearts as we all look in anticipation to the return of Christ, which grows ever nearer. We give God the praise for every soul saved, and every opportunity be a part of the work He has established. Pray for our church and our Fellowship, and specifically for our headship.
