Prescott Joins a Cross-Border Outreach in San Luis — Spring 2006

Greetings from Prescott Arizona. Once again we bring a good report of what God is doing in the city of Prescott. The last couple of months have been extremely fruitful for our church. The favor of God seems to be pouring out upon us more and more each month. This last conference brought good and bad news. The bad news is that we had to say goodbye to Pastor Fred Rubi. He decided to begin evangelizing out of Tucson. Pastor Rubi was well loved in our congregation and will be greatly missed. The good news is that this was the largest winter conference ever, it rivaled even our largest summer conference. For the first time in awhile this conference paid for itself completely! What a way to start out the new year!
We continued the momentum in February by having a play from Tempe called “Snow Blind.” This was a tremendous play on the realities of drugs and the lifestyle it leads to. On the second night of the play we nearly 400 people come out, with a large number of folks from the rehab houses. There were 25 saved that night. Because of the great response we recently had another play in from Glendale. This was a realistic “in your face” drama and showed with clarity the despair and bondage that drugs like “crystal meth” can bring in your life. It was perfect for the crowd we were trying to reach. We had been outreaching the halfway houses and rehab centers for weeks and there were many visitors out. There were 12 saved in one night and we saw five of those people in church the next day. We are praising God for ‘Fruit that remains’ and contending for even more converts and fresh souls in our church. We are still seeing many saved on our regular outreaches. In the month of February alone there were 131 new decisions for Christ. We are thanking God for that. Another sign of revival and growth in our church is that in the past six months we have had nine marriages. We have had more marriage sermons in six months then most churches get in years!
We are really looking forward to the coming months. It’s going to be a busy summer. We already have Extreme Youth Impact Team, Family Fun Fairs and the San Luis Impact Team in the works and plan to have neighborhood Miracle Healing Crusades and dramas, aside from our regular outreaches! We are looking forward to the fruit that God promises for our labor!
