Prescott Opens a 15,000-Square-Foot Church Home

We look at the financial and spiritual results and can’t help but be amazed at what God has accomplished with a small group of faithful people. The enormous amount of money that comes in and goes out is a testament to the liberality and faithfulness of Pastor Mitchell and the Prescott church.

Who would think that a church in a small town like Prescott could have such wide impact in our world? We are blessed to send our Pastors and evangelists literally all over the world to minister.

Our winter conference in January underscored the vision and commitment of the Prescott church to world evangelism. We host thousands of people to come and be a part of this great work and then we stand behind many of those who volunteer to go.

The spiritual report we saw was a testimony to the ongoing work of ministry and evangelism the Prescott church is involved in year round.

We have ministry to the saints in our annual marriage retreat in February. Pastor Joe Moreno from McAllen Texas was a great blessing to our married couples again this year. We also host a children’s Church Workers Conference in March to help undergird and inspire this valuable facet of our church’s ministry. Workers from all over the world come to this inspiring time.

But one thing that helps keep the revival fires burning is regu-

lar ongoing outreach every

week. Every Saturday

morning there are teams of

saints going out somewhere

in the Prescott area witness-

ing and winning souls to

Jesus. Saturday nights will find

us at the Underground con-

cert ministry in downtown Prescott. Live music, drama, video, and testimonies all work together to present a clear message of the Good News of Jesus Christ to save sinners.

We see regular fruit from these weekly outreach ministries, many of whom are serving God to this day. The fruit we see and the benefits in discipleship are worth the effort and cost to keep the Underground alive and kicking on a weekly basis. Because we believe in this kind of ministry our church acquired a 15,000 sq. ft. building two blocks from the courthouse plaza to give a base of ministry to our most fruitful and diverse branch of evangelism. We hope to be up and running in this new facility soon.

Pastor Mitchell’s usually hectic schedule was interrupted by a brief stay in the hospital, but he is back on his feet and as full of fire as ever. Pastor Greg Mitchell ably ministered and met the needs of our church during this time, as he always does. We were also blessed to learn of David Maldonado and his family coming in to assist in ministry and Micah Wright taking on the responsibility of the concert ministry. Our church is blessed to have such a rich pool of faithful saints to take on the multitude of ministry obligations and opportunities that we have on a daily basis.

We in Prescott count it a privilege to partner with the Fellowship in the grand adventure of seeing God’s will done on Earth and making many people obedient to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
