A New Generation Steps Forward in El Paso

We highlighted four nations in church planting which include Bogota, Columbia; Havana, Cuba; Shanghai, China and Vancouver, Canada. This is one of the great thrusts we are experiencing is a flow of finances that began in our conference and continues in order for us to not only launch but maintain support. It really is a marvel to see God raise up a church like this in a border city with such a supernatural flow of resources.

Another area of breakthrough we are seeing is among our youth. Evangelist John Robinson came and did a Friday night youth rally and Sunday fill in and when it was all over he had sparked something in our young people.

After hearing John’s testimony and sitting under the spirit of his preaching a group of men and teenagers began taking to the streets afresh and to the local malls to preach in the food courts. From there it has grown and we have seen a sustained evangelistic thrust among our young people. It has directly flowed over into our Friday night youth study. They have seen young people getting saved on Friday nights and a fresh excitement among the church grown youth.

We are currently enlarging our sanctuary in preparation for our conference which is right around the corner.This is not only for our conference but we are in need of enlargement in the local congregation. We have had numerous occasions where we were wall-to-wall in the sanctuary. We believe that this enlargement will allow us to see this growth sustained We will gain approximately 3,000 square feet more of sanctuary space.

We have great expectation going into this new year as we head into our next conference in late March. We are grateful and privileged people to be part of what God is doing and to be entrusted with such a great cause and endeavor.
