500 Decisions for Christ in El Paso

The last six months have been a time of tremendous reaping. We have been seeing God save sinners consistently in all that we have been doing for God.

There is not a service that passes that we are not seeing people get saved with a consistent flow of new converts in the church. One of the highlights has been The Edge Café.

In our weekly concerts we are seeing revival. Every week people are getting saved at the altar and many times it is five or more conversions along with a real thrust of young people in the church that are powerfully supporting that ministry and rising up to take the reins and start music groups and facilitate weekly dramas. Many times there will be a street meeting that will follow the concert with great reports coming back.

In October we put on Hells Asylum. This was a four-night haunted house. Prior to this year we have been relegated to plays for about four years due to the fact that the city was shutting down our haunted houses. We decided to legalize everything which was no small endeavor. The end result is a legal haunted house for years to come and this past event saw more than 1,700 visitors come through with over 500 decisions and tremendous momentum in the church. We had an overwhelming response from the church and especially from the youth of the church in organizing and being involved each night.

In our pre-meeting that we would have before starting each night the crowd of laborers grew and grew. It is still the talk of the church with everyone still saying they can’t wait for the next one. We kicked off 2011 with a tremendous revival with Evangelist Jerry Fussell. This was a timely revival due to the amount of new converts that we have in church. We saw souls saved every night, many filled with the Holy Ghost and healed in their bodies.

We are currently on a fast track towards our 2011 international Bible conference. There is already a buzz in the congregation as we prepare for what we believe will be a powerful time of ministry and church planting.

On the one hand it has been a very trying year on many fronts as a congregation but yet in the midst of it all God has been glorified in saving souls and raising up ministry and disciples. We are very stirred for all that God is doing with great anticipation of what we foresee as a future harvest in our city as well as the cities and nations of the earth.
