Music Opens a Door for the Gospel in El Paso — Winter 2012

We bring a great report from the city of El Paso. God has been moving and we are in the midst of a tremendous time of fruitfulness.

We finished our official summer season at the end of September and immediately went into our Haunted House mode, which has produced overwhelming results. We saw more than 2,100 people go through and 800 pray at the altar call.

As we look over the summer we had a tremendous season of fruit and growth in the church. Our summer consisted of bi-weekly outreaches in the parks with our gang play Mi Vida Loca. This event alone produced an enormous amount of fruit and we have seen numbers of people saved and locked into the church because of this. We also have our monthly 3-on-3 basketball tournaments. This was another very fruitful event.

We had four separate tournaments at the beginning of each month from May-August. We had on average 20 teams, at least half of them visitors and out of this numbers of people responded to the call for salvation.

We had our annual Cinco De Mayo Celebration which always draws many people from the surrounding neighborhoods. We also had three very dynamic revivals during this time beginning with Roman Gutierrez, following with Patrick Brick from London, England, (this was simply an incredible revival), also most recently with Peter Ajala from London, England.

We continued our weekly Edge Café Saturday night concerts which consistently saw visitors and people getting saved.

We launched two new stateside churches in Denver, Colorado and into Milwuakee, Wisconsin, along with a third church that will be opening soon in El Paso.

We are very excited for the prospect of uncontrolled revival in our city and in our church. We continue steadfast in our mandate to make disciples and God has been faithful to provide couples and young men who are challenged to do the will of God and be disciples.

The church here in El Paso is powering on. We are constantly pressing the envelope and it is resulting in a climate of contending among the saints. We are excited about the opportunity to reap a last days harvest.
