Revival with Jose Torres Refreshes Union City — Winter 2014

The saints have been faithful to labor in our building project and we continue to evangelize our city believing in God for dominion, He has provided us with a great street corner to street preach, where there is tons of foot traffic. We have had our share of resistance and this is great because the devil is fighting us and that means we must be doing something right, the saints are fired up. We’ve seen people come to services through these local outreaches and we believe that God will fill His house in Union City.

In August we had an awesome revival with Pastor Jose Torres, who took time out of his busy ministry to fly in from Mexico and really bring timely messages.

We had visitors and backsliders come out to these services and we have one confirmed miracle healing. A man in our congregation was diagnosed with growths in his throat. After receiving prayer for healing he went back to the doctors for a pre-surgical visit only to find out that the growths were gone. Praise God for His goodness.

We have taken the gospel out of the four walls of the church and once again we are having Bible studies in Jersey City, and also youth Bible studies in Palisades Park. The saints in Jersey City are encouraged and excited; God is doing a work there.

The teenagers in our church are having two Bible studies a month and are extremely encouraged. They are taking part in various ministries in church services from song service leader to clean up crew, the teens are involved.

For Halloween we put together a Star Wars themed play with a twist. We hit the streets where literally hundreds of people were passing through and we managed to gather 37 first time visitors with 16 of them responding to the alter call. We labor with excitement knowing God is on the move.

Pray for us in Union City, we want revival on the East Coast and are careful to give Jesus all praise as we co-labor with our surrounding fellowship churches believing God for increase. So please continue to pray for us as we pray for you.
