Union City Joins a Cross-Border Outreach in San Luis

We have been busy on local and out of town outreaches. The church is excited as we continue to preach the Gospel and testify and witness in the streets in the parks in neighborhoods.

Our local outreaches in the park have been fruitful as the saints took advantage of the crowds of people. Using track music and two singer taking turns singing songs to bring the gospel message to many. It has been very effective this summer.

The saints are also excited, bringing back a good report. An outreach in the Brooklyn, NY was very encouraging as we co-labored and saw people respond to the Gospel.

The music and drama attracted the people in the park and they came to see and hear messages and testimonies of what wonderful things Jesus can do in someone who repents of their sins. People bowed their hearts and prayed the sinner’s prayer.

In February we sent Pastor to San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico and Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico.

In March we sent our pastor to Iztapalapa, and Los Reyes de La Paz in Mexico DF to preach.

In May we had Evangelist Bob Burrus for revival and it was very encouraging with first time visitors.

We have also stayed busy helping other churches this summer and into the fall - Allentown and Reading, PA; Roselle Park and Plainsfield, NJ; Troy and Brooklyn, NY; Dover, Delaware; Warwick, Rhode Island; and our last one will be to Pittsburg, PA in December.

Our teens were able to make it to Cape Cod for a Teen Rally. It was the talk of the week. There were testimonies from our teens about what God did during that time. One sister declared a deliverance and testified to our church of God’s saving power.

In August we had a team support the God and Country Rally in our Nation’s Capital.

In October we had Evangelist Carl Cooper and had first time visitors and backsliders come and responded to the altar call.

We did our Haunted House for Halloween Night with 83 visitors and 36 saved.

We are looking forward to a few more events before the end of the year in our church. We always expect family members and a few first time visitors for our Thanksgiving Fellowship Service with a music Choir.

We also put on our yearly Christmas Play, it is always a time of great excitement as we expect family and friends who come and join us for a joyful time and for all who come to hear that Jesus still saves, heals, and delivers.

Our end of the year Service is a time that we prepare ourselves to get involved in fellowship, food and fun, testimonies, skits, songs, jokes, and as we near the new year we take time to pray. We’ll say good bye to 2017 and bring in 2018. I want to thank my Pastor Louie Lobato Jr. and the Yucca Valley Church for your prayers.
