A Healing Crusade Stirs Faith in San Pedro

We have had some powerful revivals already this year, with Pastors Mark Looney from west Las Vegas, and Rod Gibson from Australia Each one preached powerful messages as well as giving personal words of knowledge that were all right on time.

We also had the privilege of having a Wednesday night service with Marcelo Panopulos from Argentina who came with a timely message.

Our youth band, “Covered by the Blood” started performing at our Saturday night music scene, as well as taking the show on the road and performing at the night scene at the Bellflower, CA church.

We had “The Herald” from El Sereno, CA come and rap for us, as well as the band “Praise & Protest” from Carson, CA perform for us at our San Pedro ONE80 music scene.

We have a number of new people attending and getting involved and new visitors attending all the time.

Our Men’s Book Study has been a powerful time of “Iron sharpening Iron.” Our older men have been able to give the younger men and our teen boys some great bits of wisdom and Godly advice as we study the book “Disciplines of a Godly man”

The Women’s Bible study has also been a great bonding time for our women to develop strong relationships. We have had a couple of supernatural miracles of healing. A sister from our church fell and lost ay Parade consciousness with no pulse. The daughter began CPR and when the paramedics arrived, they were able to get a pulse. That day we called an emergency prayer meeting at the church and a number of prayer warriors gathered together and laid hold of God.

The next day Pastor Rick and brother Travis went to the hospital and laid hands on her and prayed as she was hooked up to the ventilator on 100 percent oxygen and completely sedated. Two days later she was awake and talking and was released from the hospital two days after that!

We were also praying for another guy who was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.

We received a text that said “Good news, according to X-Rays there is nothing left to treat!” He also reported the doctor said it had to be a miracle from God, he’s never seen anything like this in his 40 years of being a doctor.

At the beginning of June, Pastor Rick and brother Edwin went to San Salvador, El Salvador to help Pastor Jeremiah Wacker for an outdoor healing crusade.

At the end of the three days they saw a total of more than 13 praying for salvation and at least 18 prayed for healing, with a number of notable instant miracles.

Sunday night there was some very obvious witchcraft opposing their efforts. But in the midst of all of the challenges they had 15 visitors that night.

God is moving supernaturally in our midst, here in San Pedro and we are looking forward to a great summer of revival.
