San Pedro Celebrates 10 Years of Faithfulness

We are having a great time down here in San Pedro and God is moving in our church. We have visitors almost every service and people getting involved in ministry.

Our youth group is growing with great leadership, and our young people are rising up. We have 13 and 15-yearolds playing in song service, with more learning and eager to join in.

We have a number of men getting locked in and when we attend men’s discipleships in Redlands we usually have between 10 -12 men who take the two hour journey every month.

Our women have also developed strong bonds and relationships with their weekly coffees and the women’s in-home book study along with their text message prayer group.

We are also seeing a number of people coming out for our Friday night “Memorial Stones” Bible study/potluck/fellowships.

We wound down 2023 by celebrating our 10-year anniversary in November with revival services with former Pastors William Ortiz and Pastor Chris Smart. Later that month we celebrated with a Thanksgiving Day potluck dinner with about 60 people in attendance.

We started off December with a Friday night service with Evangelist Jeremiah Wacker. He ministered powerfully and stayed for a Men’s Discipleship breakfast that Saturday morning.

At Christmas time we had a “Pictures with Santa” outreach where we saw 100-plus visitors and we still have a family of six in regular attendance.

We ended the year with a New Year’s Eve baptism service with five people getting baptized before we had our talent show and potluck fellowship and we then prayed in the New Year.

We headed right in to 2024 with a special Wednesday night service before conference with Pastor Michael Brick from the UK. We then had Pastor Fabian Godano from Argentina the next night for our Thursday night Spanish service before conference and then again for our Wednesday night service following conference.

We have several things lined up for the rest of 2024, including revivals with Pastor Mark Looney and Pastor Glen Pugliese, and will be performing concerts for various churches around the L.A. area.

We are excited to see what God is going to continue to do in our church, and in Southern California. Please pray for us as we pray for you all as well.
