Changed Lives Open School Doors in Rochester

Our city has been reopening, and with the lockdown coming to an end, we have seen many visitors to our regular services in spite of our outreaches having to be modified due to state regulations. Some have found our services streaming online and have been attending since reopening, and some are friends and family that have been stirred due to recent events. We are excited to report that we are having revival here in Rochester and our church is growing each and every service.

After each Sunday night service our close-knit church goes to the local high school and plays soccer. It’s great to see people of all ages join together for this weekly fellowship. Although it is not an official outreach, many will invite friends to play that might not be willing to come to a regular service.

After one soccer game that had a particularly high number of visitors, Pastor Sullivan was stirred to pull an altar call and three people prayed a prayer of salvation!

A disciple in our church was stirred to hold a RocOne80 concert outside, so we held it out behind the church where many could hear the music and testimonies throughout the neighborhood. Through this concert we saw many first-time visitors, creating an opportunity for them to hear the Gospel.

We were recently able to hold a baptism and several of our new converts took a step of obedience and were baptized. We were very excited to celebrate with them.

In August we took a large outreach team to Buffalo, New York to support the new baby work that has been planted there. One of our bands was able to perform on the porch of Pastor Williams’ house, and many of the surrounding neighbors listened in from their porches and windows. Through this outreach, five souls give their lives to Jesus. We are very excited to watch this work continue to grow.

We would like to express our gratitude to the Fellowship for all of the prayers that have been poured out for this city. We value Pastor Greg and the Prescott church for their vision and faithfulness to the Lord in the work of evangelism, discipleship, and church planting.
