A New Church Home Opens in Rochester — Winter 2022

At the July 2021 Prescott conference we launched Matt and Sarah Stowell into Syracuse, New York. They are making an impact for God in that city. We are eager to see all that God does through this new baby work!

Over the summer we have been touring around the Northeast with our live rock and roll theatrical production, “Neon Lights.” We have had the opportunity to bring this show to eight surrounding churches. God has drawn hundreds of visitors and we have seen dozens give their lives to Christ. Along with seeing this as a tool for evangelism and discipleship, local congregations began to get inspired to do their own productions and think outside the box for different kinds of outreaches. We thank God for how He has been using this outreach. We also had the opportunity to have Pastor Carlos Olivas oll preach a marriage retreat in Niagara Falls. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and we are grateful for an opportunity to strengthen the marriages in our congregation.

In October, we put on our annual Haunted House. A young disciple rose up and took the opportunity to run this major outreach for the first time. We also had a past Haunted House convert preach the altar calls. Overall, 229 people went through, and 139 people were saved. We saw visitors the next day in Sunday service, and we are excited to see what else God will do as a result of this outreach.

After many prayers, an offer has been accepted on a new building and we will be moving sometime next year. God has blessed our church with exactly what we needed and more and we are eager to see all that he does as we enter into this new chapter.
