Music Opens a Door for the Gospel in Mesquite

I am Pastor Roy Garcia and my wife and two daughters took over the church here in Mesquite in late August. Pastor Mario Sanchez and his family left a wonderful work here for us to build on.

We jumped right in to a church of around 20 people. These fighting soldiers for God have been working hard on their families and friends in this city of 20,000 or so.

Pastor Don Rivera from Salt Lake Utah brought a team and did a concert in a local park and then preached our Sunday a.m. service. Evangelist David Bartelson from Ogden, Utah came and did a revival for us, and all the saints were encouraged and strengthened in God. We saw many miracles and decisions for Jesus. One miracle was a 2 month old baby who had a heart murmur. The baby was taken to the doctor after being prayed for and the doctor said he did not know what had happened to it - healed by the blood of Jesus!

We have prayed with about 50 people and many are coming and f locking in to the church. We had two m souls get baptized in water and two in G the Holy Spirit. We are having reviv- p al because the saints are exchanging ch their televisions for morning prayer! wh Backsliders are returning back to Jesus.
