Hope Takes to the Streets of Mesquite — Spring 2009

He is helping us and we are believing Him for things to come. Before the year 2008 ended, Evangelist Robert Polaco from Las Vegas, NM came and brought God’s word to us. On our Sunday Morning service, we had 40 people in attendance! During this time, God helped the saints stand strong in the faith.

At the first of year, we kicked it off with our street preaching in front of one of the casinos in town and declared God’s truth. Again, we are celebrating God’s favor as the police did not shut down our freedom to speak His salvation to the lost.

Our church is experiencing growth as we keep busy in the things of God. Recently, God has been bringing new converts and challenging them to lock in. One of the teenagers in the church invited one of his friends from school. When Pastor David Bartelson from Utah visited us early January, he spoke God’s word to this new convert and he has brought his mother to Christ and has been faithful to service. Our Pastor is also having favor and anointing as he is able to bring people in and these converts are beginning to surrender themselves to God. Recently, a new couple stepped through the doors during our Bible study. They have been faithful and God is continuing His work on them ever o since.

We are continuing to send invasion teams to St. George, UT and Las Vegas, NV to help with our nearby fellowship churches.
