Hope Takes to the Streets of Mesquite — Spring 2010

We started the new year out with a bang with Evangelist Robert Polaco. We had a tremendous uplifting of spirits as he preach directly to the church with very timely words. In one of the services, Evangelist Polaco prayed for the people who are sick and they were delivered from back pain.

We closed out 2009 with the privilege of Pastor Lamb’s drama team from Las Vegas, NV coming to Mesquite and putting on their production of the “Life of Crystal.” God gave us favor by the city allowing us to put on the play in the city theater.

The play involves true to life portrayal of people who once were hooked on crystal meth and have since been totally delivered by accepting Jesus ‘Life of Crystal’ at Christ as addiction their Lord and Savior. We saw at least 60 people accept Jesus Christ that night. We are continuing to show movies in the apartment complexes and parks and street preaching as well and we are seeing some good results as people are open to the Gospel. We have even had some backsliders that have started coming back around, praise God!

Our outreach team has continued to labor with fellowship churches including St. George, UT; Page, AZ, Provo, Ut; Ogden, Ut; and Las Vegas, NV. We are happy to serve as God is opening doors for us to go out of town more often.
