18 Decisions for Christ in Tempe

We have been specifically contending for students to get converted as well as people from other countries and are beginning to see those prayers come to fruition.

Our annual Trunk-or-Treat outreach saw 200 visitors roll through and we were able to see 18 decisions for Christ. We’ve also been taking advantage of the cooler weather and doing outdoor concerts, much of the fruit from those continue to be in church and involved in ministry.

During December, we held both a Christmas concert as well as a candlelight service. It was so encouraging to see our long-term saints collaborate with the youth to put on these events and to see how God moved through their willingness. Our youth continue to rise up and catch the vision, they are excited about being involved in our concert ministry as well as our biweekly youth Bible studies. They’re starting to find ways to be involved and serve God’s people.

Recently, we had a revival with Evangelist Nathan Brazell. He preached a series entitled “Home Invasion,” that dealt with our saints about the dangers of social media and how to guard our homes on that front. It was a powerful time and we saw many lives saved.

We also just held our annual Valentine’s Day Banquet and 40 couples joined us. Pastor Adam Porter delivered a timely message on the keys to sustaining a long-term, happy relationship with God’s help.

We are so grateful for all God is doing as well as the support from our congregation and surrounding churches as we reach The Valley for Jesus!
