Hope Reaches Behind Prison Walls in Tempe

Throughout the night of our our last music scene of 2010, The Grinch continued to make appearances. Excited about the event, people brought their friends and family. This drama-themed night sparked a number of fresh ideas. This year we’ve had special Theme Night concert scenes about New Year’s Resolutions, Valentine’s Day and Drug Addiction. Each has been a great draw with visitors and souls getting saved!

In February, we had wonderful revival services with Evangelist Robert Polaco. Through preaching and song, he brought timely words of encouragement. We have converts attending today that were faithful to these services.

We also debuted a play centered around the life of Evangelist Chris Oropeza who served time in the Santa Fe prison during the famed prison riots. Today, he has been pardoned by the Governor of New Mexico with full citizenship rights restored! The play was so powerfully moving, we performed it again the following month. 24 people gave their lives to Jesus during those two nights!

In March, we were able to send Pastor Christien and Shannon Sims with their four boys to Bangkok, Thailand. In their first “we’ve just landed” report, they rejoiced at having already lead a Thai man to Christ! Pray for the Sims! And while you’re praying, lift up Pastor Matt and Christina Senger who we helped send to American Samoa in February and Pastor John and Roxanna Dumas who we sent to Chisinau, Moldova last November.

We are looking forward all that God is going to do this spring.

From our annual Bible Conference during the first week of May to park outreaches and street evangelism, we’re believing for more churches planted and new families added to the church.
