Music Opens a Door for the Gospel in Tempe — Spring 2010

The year 2009 ended with a busy December including a Multi-Cultural outreach, Evangelist John Dumas in to preach a Youth Rally and Sunday morning service, kid’s Christmas play entitled “The Best Christmas Present Ever,” which drew many visitors, and we ended up with a movie called “The Board” along with a food fellowship on New Year’s Eve.

As the calendar turned, we continued our efforts. The first Saturday was a repeat performance of “The Dark Circus” play which saw 15 respond.

For Prescott Conference, we sponsored a number of delegates and all returned absolutely changed by the power of God. We then showed “The Blessed Life” and “The Way of the Master” to stir faith and evangelism. Also, we hosted a Men’s Breakfast with Rob Hall who spoke about growing up as a pastor’s son and his tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Our Spanish ministry continues to flourish and many are being added. In fact, we are starting a Spanish New Convert’s Class to help solidify these new believers.

We have just completed a fruitful week of revival with Roman Gutierrez. We began with a Saturday Youth Extreme which included a morning Rally, all day outreaches, an outdoor concert, and the play ‘Twice Dead’ that night.

Each service, we had many visitors with a number of them coming multiple nights. Overall, we had more than 60 people pray for salvation and 17 filled with the Holy Ghost on the final night!

We are anticipating a glorious 2010! We thank God for His mighty work in our midst. It is our privilege to be part of this Fellowship. Many thanks to Pastor Mitchell, Pastor Greg Mitchell, the Prescott church, and all our fellow-laborers. Full speed ahead!
