Hope Takes to the Streets of Tempe — Fall 2015

We are thrilled at the effectiveness of a number of events we put on and/or participate in each summer – Young Men’s Outreach (this year to Clairemont, CA), 4th of July Street Preaching at Tempe Town Lake after the fireworks, Vacation Bible School, Proverbs 31 Class (for girls in 7th-10th grade), Enlisted To Endure Boot Camp in NM, Oceanside Crusade, and Father-Son Camping Trip. Each of these contributed to the spiritual growth of our young people, new converts, and long-term saints.

In August, we were greatly privileged to have Pastor Greg Mitchell preach on a Sunday night, then stay over for a Phoenix Valley-Wide Men’s Discipleship. All of us were stirred by the depth of ministry, helped by great wisdom, and very blessed to have him with us.

We closed out the month with a powerful revival with Chris Aulson. Our brother brought tremendous revelation and insight through his preaching and imparted much truth in just a few services. Our church was greatly powered forward and much encouraged!

An ongoing highlight has been the continual stream of visitors. People have come from many different avenues, not always directly linked to one of our events – God is drawing them! Many are being saved and then rooted/grounded in the faith – planting their lives in God’s House and flourishing. We are rejoicing in the Lord Jesus’ work of building His church, as He promised! We are anticipating a fruitful Fall-Winter campaign as the heat subsides. We are still contending for breakthrough at Arizona State University, our local high schools, and multiple neighborhoods. We are asking for “rain in the time of latter rain” and for the Lord to “pour out His Spirit on all flesh.” We look forward to the promised Last Days’ Revival!
