Revival with Kevin Foley Refreshes Tempe

In September, the ing a graphic portr month was packed Jesus death for ou with outreaches and ministry. We hosted a Friday night “Tempe Rally” for all our daughter churches in the Phoenix area. Our very own Joe Rice came to preach and all were stirred.

The next day, we had a Youth Extreme outreach. Pastor Rice exhorted the youth in the morning and they labored in all day evangelism.

In the evening, we put on a Family Fun Day at a local park and saw more than 70 visitors with a large number of decisions for Christ. Our youth worked hard and made eternal impact on many lives. We are praising God for raising up the next generation as soul winners, prayer warriors, and future pastors and pastor’s wives!

In October, we were blessed by a revival with Pastor Kevin Foley. His years of labor in the word and doctrine were evident as he ministered and God used him greatly to encourage our congregation.

As usual, we went to Mill Avenue in full force for Halloween. What a spectacle to behold the masks and outlandish costumes as people streamed by.

We had a new twist this year by setting up in a different location and having our bloody Jesus up on an 11-foot high cross – visible from each of the four corners of that intersection as we preached and witnessed.

In addition, we had two roving dramas with Jesus pulling the cross, Roman soldiers crucifying Him every so often, and others testifying of a specific sin that put Jesus on that cross. At the end of the night, the two roving Jesus’ became the two thieves for our grand finale. Roman soldiers whipped all three through the crowd up to three crosses, crucified them, and the thieves made their choices – one for, one against Christ. Both times we did this the whole area was silent and watching.

The Gospel powerfully went forth and we prayed with many people. We are so grateful that God used us to shine His n preachen on ue, durayal of r sins.
