Music Opens a Door for the Gospel in Tempe — Summer 2005

Greetings from Tempe. We just concluded our Tempe Conference, and it was a wonderful time. The theme of the conference was the favor of God, and we sensed His favor and blessing upon all that happened. We were blessed to have Pastor Mitchell and former Tempe pastor Kevin Foley among our featured speakers, and Joe Rice and Randall Van Staten were with us from South Africa. On Friday night, we announced three couples to begin pioneering new churches, and two new couples to help our labors here.

We are blessed to hear good reports coming to us from our missionaries on the field. Ben and Angie Mavis have finally been able to get into Venezuela, and have hit the ground running.

Our “Primal Scream” concert scene has been taking on new looks. Recently, the labor has been shifting to younger hands, as our teens have been rising up to minister in bands, drama, and behind-the-scenes work. We are feeling that God is ready to take us up a notch in effectiveness for the Lord.

Thank God for His faithfulness!
