A Healing Crusade Stirs Faith in Georgetown

Georgetown is experiencing a great move of God, especially over the last year. We’re seeing a real breakthrough in young adults coming into the church, primarily between the late teens and early 20s. Our bi-monthly concerts have really helped build unity in the church among the young people, as well as creating a great platform to draw in visitors. We’ve had several incredible revivals over the past year that have really helped establish the church.

Last year, we were able to facilitate three major events that really stretched the church and showed. what’s possible when we work together.

The first event was our first ever Haunted House. We did the event over three nights and had steady crowds with multiple showings every night. It was amazing to see the church come together and get. involved with an event that took so much time and effort.

In the beginning of December we had a Healing Crusade and Revival with Pastor Stephens. We hired out a large meeting room at the Georgetown Library downtown. We had visitors at the healing crusade, and during the revival. We also were able to rent the same facility again at the end of December to do our Christmas presentation, “It’s a Wonderful Life.” The drama presentation was powerfully anointed, and we saw several people give their lives to Christ over the two nights.

The church is under two years old, yet has a rock solid core of families and single people that are faithful to church, personal evangelism and outreach, as well as faithful givers. There isn’t a week that goes by where we’re not seeing visitors come in, many responding to salvation. There is such an incredible level of expectancy in the Georgetown church, you can feel it in the church services, events, as well as in the hearts of the people. I really believe that 2018 is going to bring the church to a whole new level of maturity and growth.

Another exciting thing that we are seeing is men that are feeling the call to preach the Gospel. Even though the church is young, and relatively small, there is an incredible atmosphere of discipleship, men that want to be used by God and fully believe that they will one day be able to preach the Gospel somewhere in the world!
