A New Church Home Opens in Fayetteville

This year has thus far been very eventful and we are expecting greater things to happen. We started the year in Revival with Evangelist Frankie Chi. It was a very powerful move of God with timely messages and record attendances, demon bashing deliverance services with a few souls saved and added to the Kingdom. We are still seeing fruit from that revival.

In April we were able to take some folks to our annual Harvester’s Homecoming hosted by our mother church in Killeen, TX and lead by our awesome Pastor James Rosario and his lovely wife Renee. It was timely for our folks catching the vision of what we are all about as a fellowship.

One notable miracle while there at the Harvester’s is that of Fernando Palacios. I tell the folks that anytime someone makes a decision to step out in faith the devil tries to trip them up. Fernando had planned to go and at the very last minute death was knocking at his door, but with the power of prayer and taking dominion he was able to shake off and be set free of anxiety and depression pills and attend the Harvester’s.

Fernando was also able to testify of the goodness of the Lord in his life being set free from suicidal attempts. It was timely for some folks who heard it because they approached him later and told him that they were encouraged by his words and now have hope for themselves by the power of Jesus.

Upon returning home Fernando remembered a particular sermon mentioning that every Paul needs a Timothy, and he vowed to himself to be that Timothy. He adjusted his work schedules to come to every service. He tithes, shows up to prayer, and dresses to honor the Lord. He is now my head usher and has preached his first sermon, “The Value of a Life” while I was away at Conference. I received reports from the church that his sermon was from the Holy Ghost.

In April I was invited by the Prescott Church to share my testimony of all the Lord has done for me while involved in the Iraqi War as a soldier. It was an amazing time not only in the event which was powerful in itself, but to be able to be a blessing to the Prescott Church in any capacity. It was truly an amazing experience to be able to step foot at the first Fellowship church for the first time. The folks that welcomed us were truly amazing people.

Before departing we were able to visit and pray with a young Marine Veteran in his home. He was indeed truly hurting and battling for his life and family. Memories were made and friendships were built on that trip that will never be forgotten.

In July we were able to go to the Prescott Conference for the first time and again it was truly amazing to see familiar faces and to be a part of the new building dedication. We took folks with us who were just as amazed as we were to be able to be a part of such a great vision.

One statement was made by a disciple that was truly funny was “Wow! They do what we do but only bigger. The way they pray, the way they preach and the order of their services, the way they fellowship, it’s all the same!”

Fernando was so stirred and moved that he testified of giving his whole check into the offering. We returned home with an even bigger vision.

We returned and had a wedding ceremony. Ronnie and Melissa just in February had given their lives to Jesus Christ. Their children Robby and Ayla who in previous months had attended our church were compelled to witness to their parents and out of their efforts we witnessed a miracle.

The very next day we began to expand our building and we went from a seating capacity of 40 to now 80. So many of the church were involved in the expansion project and loving it. At the same time they have truly taken ownership of their church and if I haven’t said it enough, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

One of the disciples, Mike Harp, suggested an outdoor service/healing crusade on his property so he set it all up and invited folks to attend. We had worship service and I preached a short message asking the question Jesus asked “Who do you say that I AM?” We had a wonderful altar service and a great response for healing. We are still praying for breakthrough and deliverance for folks who attended.

After Prescott Conference we went into the Chandler Conference fired up, which brought more insight and added to our bag of treasure. We returned from Chandler conference and right into Sunday service to do it again. August 11th we baptized three wonderful souls and had a church potluck. I thank the Lord for establishing this fellowship and special delivering the vision to Pastor Wayman Mitchell and then handing the inheritance down to us. There is a church established in Fayetteville, Arkansas that will one day be a launching pad as we impart the vision and hand down this great heritage to the upcoming generation.
