New Believers Take a Public Stand in Fayetteville

We have been truly blessed by all that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has been doing here. Though the effects of COVID linger and have affected some in our church, the Lord’s work has carried on.

Last year in August we had our first carnival in the park. Partnering with us was Pastor Matias of Rogers Arkansas, Pastor Lamont of Pasadena, Texas as well as members of their churches and of course faithful families from the local body. There were thousands in the park which we were not expecting but we had a great time.

Twenty-two souls responded in prayer and we went into revival after that with Evangelist Frankie Chi. It was such a blessed time.

Immediately after that great time, COVID hit over 80 percent of the church. It was not a great time especially as their pastor wondering if I did the right thing of having an event like that in a somewhat dangerous time.

In that, fear gripped the hearts of some members who have not yet since that day returned. In that loss we saw new additions rise up out of the ashes of fear and fall in to the ranks.

One family in particular, Jesus and Stacey Zuniga, hit the ground running. They got saved during the revival and then were baptized. Jesus Zuniga shared a powerful testimony of his bondage to substance addiction and how it nearly destroyed his life and family, before God delivered him. God is truly doing a wonderful work in their lives as He has slowly started the healing process for this precious family.

A brightness like never seen before, Jesus and Stacey and now their sons Jamie and Josh and his girlfriend Esmeralda have started this new journey together. This has brought a newness of hope and inspiration in the local body.

Just like the Bible, there is just not enough room or pages to talk about all the Lord is doing here in Fayetteville, Arkansas and the wonderful families that have well represented their great state.

I am just truly privileged and overwhelmingly honored to pastor such a special group of people. Just like the rest of the CFM Fellowship here and abroad, the stories of the Bible are truly coming alive as lives are being saved and genuine conversions are taking place.

Continuing on with all that has been instilled into us from Killeen Texas, on up to Chandler Arizona, to its origins of Prescott, Arizona and the Bible itself, we will stay the course and impart into them all that we have been taught until the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
