A New Church Home Opens in Lubbock

We ended 2012 and began 2013 with tremendous favor in the area of fruitfulness. Every Sunday morning, we are seeing our building filled to capacity with an atmosphere of expectancy.

We began the year with Holy Ghost infused revival meetings. Evangelist Aaron Saavedra out of Amarillo, TX challenged our congregation to contend for God to move in the gifts of the Spirit, reminding us of our Pentecostal roots.

Words of prophecy were given, the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, and healings occurred nightly. Souls were saved and people set free from the bondages of depression, addiction, and hatred as several backsliders returned to Christ. Many are still attending services.

Disciples, old and new, are beginning to be stirred, rising to the challenges of a growing and thriving congregation. They are making themselves available, and this has made significant impact upon all of our outreach endeavors, including our music scenes, children’s church, movie nights, and door-to-door outreach.

We have been able to help many of our surrounding churches with Invasion Teams. We see God move on our behalf as we labor alongside our sister churches.

Most recently, we cancelled our own Saturday morning outreach and redirected our efforts to help a pioneering sister church in the area. Later that evening, we returned to our building to hold our usual Saturday night music scene, and saw 15 visitors with three of them giving their lives to Christ.

Please partner with us as we pray and believe God for a larger building. We thank God for our headship, as well as the Prescott, Gallup, and Grants congregations for their continued example and prayers.
