A Healing Crusade Stirs Faith in Glendale

Greetings from the very hot, very dry Southwest. God is faithfully moving in our city, as He has before, and it is with great joy we give you this report of all He has done. The city of Glendale, and especially the area around our church building, has a high Hispanic population. Some men in “ ...900 our church showed u were stirred and in people February, they started an English class ministry on Thursday nights. We hung a banner on the side of our building, facing a Hispanic convenience store, and passed out flyers advertising this. They do a short lesson, teaching English, then a simple bible study and altar call. The first night, we saw 13 visitors and nine saved. The following week, 20 peopled showed with almost all the visitors saved. Now the ministry has grown to almost 50 people every Thursday night, and we have seen a number of them lock into church.
In March, we were able to have the amazing play from Prescott, “ My Big Fat Italian Funeral ” . This drama combines comedy with a straightforward Gospel message that has enormous impact. We had many visitors and 16 people gave their lives to Christ.
The month of April was a busy month, packed full of evangelistic events. We started off with an outstanding revival with Prescott evangelist, Mark Sanderlin. Many words were given, and many new converts came to hear timely and fitting messages. We then were able to follow this up with an Easter ’ s Eve Healing Crusade, preached by Pastor Mitchell. We scheduled outreach teams from around the valley for the previous week and 14 teams, with over 350 people, showed up to help outreach, not including the many saints from our own congregation. We set up the crusade in the main park downtown in the amphitheater. Over 900 people showed up, including many of the surrounding Fellowship pastors and congregations. When it was over, we saw over 50 people saved and many, many notable miracles. Praise God!
We also have just recently finished a remodel of part of our building. Due to the blessing of a Christian man who employs some people in our church, a task that would have cost us huge amounts of time and money, was almost all free! We now have a beautiful new facility for our children ’ s church, prayer room, and Saturday 0 people night up...over 50 “ Coffee e "saved! ” House ” . W e are extremely grateful for every person who has labored with and for us over the years, and count it a privilege to be a part of something that is touching the world with the Gospel. Also, thank you, Pastor Mitchell and the leaders of our Fellowship, for your relendess and enduring vision, and your faithfulness to the Commission. It is still, by far, the single greatest thing, to see a life changed by the Blood of the Lamb. Pray for us in Glendale, as we pray for you! We are truly looking forward with expectancy to all the things God has in store for us. We know we can take the land!
