A New Church Home Opens in Gresham

Nine of us attended the Prescott conference in July. During conference a clear challenge was issued in many of the sermons to the youth. We came back to Gresham changed and with a rekindled fire to see our city won for the kingdom.

Over the next few months we have Family Fun Night in Gresham, Oregon saw 300 visitors had several concerts in the park with many from the surrounding area in attendance. These concerts have also been an opportunity for new ministry for our young people, such as running sound, pulling altar calls and learning to lead outreaches.

Along with the outreaches in the park we have also had powerful revival services with Steve Bowman and Tony Chase. In these services God was moving in clear words of wisdom, tongues and interpretations as well as healing many.

This led up to our Halloween outreach. We canvassed the city with flyers leading up to our two-night Family Fun Night. Over the course of both evenings we saw upwards of 300 people in attendance! These nights were a wake up call for our church at the great opportunity that God has presented us with in this city.

In the past year we have had unsaved family members recommit their lives to Jesus, and several new converts have locked in. We have had the opportunity to baptize five of them!
