A New Church Home Opens in Tucson

Hundreds of refugees are being brought into Tucson and our church is becoming a multi-colored hodgepodge of Nepalese, Iranians, Iraqis, Navajos, Tohono O’odham Indians, Mexicans, and a couple of Americans as well.

In September, Pastor Olmstead came and did a three-night revival where we saw several notable miracles and our first influx of internationals.

Shortly after, a large manufacturing company closed its Tucson branch and donated to our church a 15-passenger van, and 60 brand new metal chairs.

God was preparing us for growth and the ability to help our sister churches!

We began taking music and drama to the streets and our surrounding fellowship churches.

The Sunday after that revival a Nepalese refugee was very sick with diabetes. Pastor Berry prayed for her and that evening she returned beaming from ear-to-ear full of energy and life. God healed her and she became an awesome testimony to many of her native friends and many have come to church to learn more about Jesus!

God has been opening the eyes of the spiritually blind, setting free the captives of false gods and false religion, and healing their infirmities. Already many are asking to be baptized because they want to convert to Christianity.

Another precious Nepalese man was in the hospital with possible tuberculosis. After Pastor laid hands on him and prayed for him in Jesus’ name the tests came out negative!

In November, Evangelist Ashgar Ghafoor came and ministered to our mini-international work, many were healed and filled with the Holy Ghost, our church doubled in size and we have retained many!

One remarkable miracle was an Arabic woman who came with pain in her kidneys and her back and left the church totally delivered. In the midst of this God is already opening doors into a larger building for us.

Our God is an awesome God! Pray for us as we take the gospel to the whole world right here in Tucson.
