New Believers Take a Public Stand in Oak Cliff

Our mother church, The Door in Duncanville, helped us do an outreach at a popular park in the area. Through that outreach, we had two couples come out to church and they’ve been coming ever since.

One notable conversion is my mother-in-law. After praying and contending for her soul for many years, she came to our second service and surrendered her life to Christ. She is filled with the Holy Spirit and serving God wholeheartedly in our church. She is bringing family members and has been an unexpected blessing to us.

Another nota-ble miracle is my sisterin-law, Xitlaly. She is a teenager who battled depression and suicidal thoughts for many years. Pastor Conrad Murillo in Irving, TX invited us to a special service with Pastor Roman Gutierrez. That day, Xitlaly was contemplating ending her life, but she cried out to God and my mother-in-law (who was supposed to go to work that day) decided to not go to work but instead go pick up Xitlaly and take her to church. It was a powerful service! Xitlaly answered the altar call and Pastor Roman gave her a powerful word. She has since then been baptized and is on fire for God, no longer depressed, making stands and telling her friends about Jesus. Glory to God!

We’ve had two baptism services and had our first “Jesus People” wedding in March. We were somehow able to fit 60 people in our house! God is building His church! We are in desperate need of a building. We are praying and contending that God will bless us with one soon! We are humbled by all that God is doing and we are so grateful to be a part of it. I would like to thank my Pastor, William Summers, and our mother church for Dallas, Texas church holds first Jes People wedding in pastor’s home their constant support and prayers.
