Music Opens a Door for the Gospel in McMinnville

God has turned a page in our church this year. We started the New Year with fasting and prayer, followed up by an awesome revival with Rod Gibson in which many received words and were touched. We had a breakthrough in the supernatural as he ministered on the gifts of the Spirit and people stepped out in faith in new areas, allowing God to move through them.

Right after our revival we were ministering in our Saturday night scene “The Other Side” and saw a breakthrough like never before. Around 10 young people visited and four young men were saved. Since then we have seen a steady flow of young people, sometimes two or three, sometimes 15 or 20. We are believing God for these to lock in and become disciples.

In February we had a pastoral change with Pastor Mammen and his wife Susan leaving to take over the Gallup, NM congregation, and Pastor Foley and his wife Janet taking over here in McMinnville. Our congregation made them feel very welcome and God blessed us with a smooth transition.

Pastor Foley has kept building on what Pastor Mammen had established and God has been using him in a powerful way. The church has drawn closer and more consecrated to Jesus than ever before. We’re seeing backsliders come back; people who just disappeared are returning and repenting, it’s truly amazing!

In March we sent a guerilla team down to Chico, California, for Pastor John and Sophie Foley. Thirty people went to proclaim the gospel for three days. More than 20 people were saved between concerts, alter calls, and one-on-one evangelism. Pastor John Foley was able to bring one of these converts to our NW Bible Conference, where God radically touched him.

This conference was very stirring for our churches. We had Martin Klok and Pastor Mitchell as our main speakers. God refreshed us; giving us a breakthrough and strengthening our vision. We are expecting great and mighty things by the hand of God this year! We are excited to be serving God in the Northwest!
