A Healing Crusade Stirs Faith in Las Vegas

We, as most of you know have been in fellowship for some time now, and like any older church have struggled with things common to older churches.

Nevertheless we here in Las Vegas are witnessing the hand of God change the atmosphere of our church. We have always been faithful to fellowship Outreaches, Conferences, Men’s discipleships and have always done what the fellowship does. In all our efforts it did seem as

As a result God has taken us from our comfortable deserts to new fruitful valleys. He has changed the direction of our out reaches and led us to fruitful neighborhoods.

Recently we took our play “The Life of Crystal” to a neighborhood in desperate need and saw 30 souls saved. Some of our disciples have been stirred by God to have healing crusades and at one we saw 30 more saved.

We have gained valuable souls and couples; some have been baptized and are rooting themselves in the church.

In our recent baptism one of our convert mothers recounted for us how she got saved. Her ex-husband (also a new convert) had been inviting her to church for some time and she would ignore him. What she couldn’t ignore was the change in his life. God was weighing on her heart.

The tipping point came when her son (who has been coming with his father) told his mother from the back seat “Mom why don’t you just get saved?” His Mom said, “ I would have to change and I’m not ready for that.” Her son said, “But Jesus is coming back soon for his people, to take them to heaven, and I’m afraid you won’t go.” Mom said, “Don’t worry, if you go I’ll just grab onto your hand and go to.” The son answered, “No, you have to make your own decision.”

Jesus Christ uses anybody willing to open their mouth in faith! We’re grateful to you all for your support and prayers. We pray often for the vision of our fellowship, and hope that you all are experiencing revival.
