Revival with Adrian Farley Refreshes San Angelo

We have had our share of roller coaster rides. I remember when I, along with my wife Margaret, came to visit this church in July of 1995. We were the only ones at that service, and we became the congregation. Pastor Robert Hernandez and his wife Debra were sent here to start a church on June 6, 1995, from The Potter’s House in Odessa, Texas by Pastor Wade Shultz and his wife Lisa. Pastor Hernandez worked the Harvest Fields of San Angelo until he felt God’s calling to go to North Dakota in 2007.

Pastor Richard Swift and his wife Melina, with their two children Jeremy, 13 and Shania, 17, came to take this church over in October 2013 after doing missionary work in Montreal, Canada. Pastor Swift kept God’s work going. We continued street preaching and doing concerts, and movie outreaches at parks. People responded and our church grew.

We recently had a revival with Evangelist Adrian Farley. The revival was hotter than the weather outside! Sermons that were from God couldn’t have been timelier along with the words that were given. God is moving in our city and in our church as we have grown to 90 people in some services.

I had mentioned that Pastor Swift and Melina’s kids were 13 and 17. Now, Jeremy is our song service leader and engaged to be married. And Shania is still locked in and serving God.

God is moving in men as they have risen to fulfill ministries in the church. Our church now has 17 ministries that are filled by men, women and teenagers.
