A New Church Home Opens in Portsmouth

We have been here since mid-November

and God is truly fulfilling His prophecy on

this land. We were told that God is going

to do a quick work here in Portsmouth and

it has been nothing but. We have had our

mother church; Hampton, Chesapeake,

Virginia Beach, and Newport News labor

for us. Each impact team has brought fruit

that remains.

We have a family that has been here from day one. They along with three other families are locking into God’s plan for their lives. The people are rising up to the call of God and all that He has for them. They are not afraid of witnessing to the lost and telling the “true gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Three people have already received the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues. Six have been baptized in water also. God is in control.

The City of Portsmouth said they didn’t want any more churches, because “the city plan. We held our first service in our new building on Wednesday night and the people are even more excited about what God is going to do. Our landlord is saved and she knows about the city and how they are with churches. She had a space that the renters didn’t really want anymore so she tore up their lease and gave one to us. The renters moved in last November and never even used the space. God was holding it for His work. The rent is only $400 a month and the people are already tithing, so after three months we are self-supported.

Praise God for the vision of the fellowship, Pastor Mitchell, Pastor Campbell,our pastor; Pastor Rosario, and the area churches’ labor for Portsmouth.
