Healing and Hope Mark a New Season in Seattle

As we have been fighting the good fight, God has been faithful here in the Northwest. We are grateful to bring a good report. Pastor Drout announced somewhat prophetically at the beginning of 2006 that this was going to be a different year for our church, and he was right.

In April we launched our first couple, Gene and Monica Vijarro to pioneer in Covington, WA., a booming multi-cultural suburb Southeast of Seattle. God has given them favor in obtaining use of an auxiliary room new City Hall building.

One of our new Filipino converts, Josie DeGuzman, had a miracle answer to prayer. One of her sisters had gone into a coma after a failed surgical procedure and was declared brain dead. Despite the insistence of the doctors to disconnect her life support, Josie, who had only been saved a few weeks, but believed God, and urged the family to wait. She called some folks from Church to pray with her for her sister. There was no immediate response and the doctors were increasingly insistent. However, several

She in now almost completely recovered. - Praise God for the faith of new converts .. and for His great mercies!

God is doing something wonderful in this area. For a long time, it was a major battle just to get someone saved on an outreach. However, in our outreaches this summer we been able to pray with as many as 10-13 each outreach.

Most recently, in a Dennis Wright revival, a young man was called out, who was not aware that his legs were uneven. When he was being prayed for he could feel his bones move and was completely healed.

Finally, God has been moving among our youth and has helped us greatly in an outstanding area youth rally with evangelist Larry O’Hallaran.

We are continuing to believing God to help us finish out the year with a bang as we press the battle to the gate.
